EARTHQUAKE!
This morning at around 5:18 a.m., I experienced my first earthquake! At it's origin, it was a 6.2 on the richter scale, and was about a 5.0 here in my neighborhood in Tokyo. The building swayed and there was just a rumbling feeling. It was not too bad, but it was definitely a strange feeling and unsettling. Greg had been through a few small ones in his travels here, but he said that one was the biggest he'd felt. Yikes. It woke the babies up too, and it was one of the few days they were actually sleeping past 5 a.m. on the dot. Thanks a lot, Earth. I hope that's the biggest one we feel while we're here.
